 This week on Monday we did a Vocabulary Match-up task.

Ancient Chariot Debate

 Debating:

Today's blog post is about a debate we had this morning with my class about artefacts specifically the ones in Pompeii.

We split the class in two,one side said that we should leave them where they are & the other said we should excavate and relocate the artefacts.

We got ourselves situated in groups of 3 on each side and talked about how we can support our reasoning,then each group paired up to debate on the topic.

My group said:Learning about the history of our world will help us move forward in modern society this can only be accomplished by digging up & researching these ancient ruins

The opposing group said: This is disrespectful to the land & there are ways to protect our artefacts without digging them up.
