This year the Year 7/8's had special classes they could choose from. I chose Digital Technologies so here's my review/recollection of what we did then (for context I had practice so I couldn't go most of the time so yeah).
DigiTech
This term we had options of what we’d like to do on a Tuesday/Friday. I chose Digital technologies which was led by Mrs O. I had rehearsals on Fridays so that left me with Tuesdays to take part in this class. The first time I went we made beebots do a synchronised dance,draw a circle,draw a square & a flower. I really enjoyed this because it’s my favourite part of learning ; trial & error. The trial & error were my favourite part because as soon as we got it wrong from there it was strikingly clear as to how to refine it.
The second time we went to the technology centre in town. There we all got to try the VR headset & play The Plank. I found it rather interesting because there was an underlying feeling of fear although I knew it wasn’t real much like a lucid dream. The hero academy was much the same because you could fly and see the “ground” beneath you.
Today as it was the last day we went to the town square & got pizza.
Twas a vibe.
